Hello, Friends of Pet Nanny.

It’s almost mid-summer and it is so hot.  Be careful with your pets and make sure they are kept in a cool place with plenty of water.  If they go outside, make sure their activity is limited during the hottest parts of the day.  Heat stroke can cause organ damage, brain damage and can be fatal.  Most of our pets expell body heat from the top of their head.  If they are out doors, please keep a water bottle handy for them to drink and to keep their head and neck wet.  This will bring their body temp down and minimze risk.

Now for the fun stuff.  July 4th is just a few day away.  Take time to enjoy all the fun activities going on in Tega Cay this coming Wednesday.  And come wave to us in the boat parade.  We will be looking for you.

Until then, here are a few pics of how we stay cool in the Summer.

Have a great Summer from the Pet Nanny Team
